Valentina Gilabert, 18 years old, has returned home and is progressing well, according to the young woman's lawyers in a statement. The model was operated on February 5 after suffering a knife attack by the Mexican influencer Marianne Gonzaga, 17 years old.
In her own words, Valentina thanked everyone who cared for her, the doctors who helped her recover, and the people who donated blood. She expressed feeling better and confident that everything will turn out well, emphasizing the importance of the support she has received.
Valentina, who left the Médica Sur hospital in Mexico City in a wheelchair, confirmed that the legal process against Marianne Gonzaga is still ongoing and they are closely collaborating with the Attorney General's Office of Mexico City to clarify the events that occurred on February 4.
The model had been stabbed more than ten times by the Mexican influencer in an apartment located in the Álvaro Obregón municipality. A judge specialized in juvenile justice has criminally charged Marianne with the crime of willful injury. Authorities have set a deadline of two months to complete the investigations, and in the meantime, the influencer will remain in a Specialized Center for Women and Adolescents.
